Dallas Nonprofit Resources has been providing grant writing and consulting services to Dallas-area nonprofit organizations since 2004, and has had more than 700 grants funded.

Murray L. Covens, Principle, and Sherri Barrett, Associate
We have strong current grant writing experience in the North Texas area, and are currently involved in a substantial amount of grant writing. We subscribe to two large grant data bases, one for Texas and one national, and we have our own large, current data base of funders for North Texas nonprofit programs.
Our specialty is doing a large volume of small- to medium-sized grant proposals to foundations and corporations for general operating and program/project funds. Our services include researching potential funders, developing a "master" grant template for the client's review, and preparing each grant request per the requirements of each individual funder.
Murray Covens' background includes over 20 years of financial and business management experience with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, with over 10 years of experience with nonprofit organizations in management and development. He holds a BBA and MBA, and was formerly a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
Sherri Barrett's background includes over 10 years of grant writing and other development experience with some of Dallas' leading nonprofit organizations. She holds a BBA in Marketing from Baylor University.
